Minutes of the Annual General Meeting of the Friends of Ruskin Park, held on Tuesday, 22nd October at 7.30 p.m.

2. Chair’s report
Veronica listed the highlights of the past year :
The Chair extended thanks to all members of the committee, Claire Molyneux and the Rangers for their continued support and Ian Loasby for the creation of the web site.

4. Treasurer’s Report
Chris outlined the 2 main sources of income over the past year :

Copies of the final report were circulated and the following comments made
6. Funding
Claire Molyneux reported that last year, the Area Panel had offered £1,000, which FORP had asked to be held over. The Area Panel has now offered the original £1,000 plus a further £6,600. This will give us a total of £9,500 capital for immediate expenditure on equipment. Detail :

7. Minutes of the meeting 12th September, 2002
7.1. Bulbs are to be planted on Monday, November 11th. Sue Ireland reported on the arrangements that had been made with the school. Fraser’s team will supply the tools. Volunteers welcome. Sue, Deb, Rachel, Veronica and Rosemary to attend.

monitoring
8.2.
Area Panel to meet on November 21st in Walkley Library
at 7 p.m., to look at next year’s local action plan. FORP members to attend
from 8 p.m., to put our views forward.
8.3.
Barbara reported that the new vicar of St Mary’s is soon to take
up her post. FORP members invited to the welcome meeting on Thursday 12th
December, 7.30 p.m. Veronica, Brenda and Diane to attend.
8.4.
Claire reported that a dog bin has been put on the green opposite
Netto.
8.5. The meeting proposed a vote of thanks to Veronica for the hard work she has put in over the last year.
